Hi! I am having trouble embedding my map in a Wordpress blog. The HTML embed code I pull from my map only renders a link in my site, the map doesn't appear at all. Does anybody have any suggestions as to why this might be occurring? I've tried opening a new page with no other code on the page and it still doesn't work. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Bec

Hi Bec, I'm not sure if Wordpress.com (which I imagine is what you are using?) allows embedded javascript, which is what the map needs to work. Peter might have some more info on this though.

It's true, WordPress.com doesn't allow any JavaScript embedding: http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/#javascript. You could try getting a screen capture of your map and uploading as an image with the links underneath as a work around.

The maps will not embed with a free Wordpress.com site. They will work just fine if you use Wordpress.org on a self-hosted domain though.
