Quoting lil j

Don't you find different songs have different meanings to you i.e.depending on what was going no in your life at the time you was into a particular song or album??

Definitely, White Man in Hammersmith Palais by The Clash reminds me of when I used to work opposite Hammersmith Palais;)
Seriously, yes of course certain songs/albums remind me of people, places and events.

I cant listen to the band Picture House. The succubus who came between me and the love of my life used to listen to them all the time - in her car, in her apartment, in my car, in my apartment - if I hear them on the radio now I become quite violent.

Probably a little off the point, but it's off my chest temporarily

Every time I hear Narcotic from Liquido I'm reminded of my ex b/f and how we met first time!

Mr. Isa here...

Okay people, you've got to be kidding...
There is so much good music out there... We have 200+ albums, 150+ CDs, 100+ cassettes, and we're still not done collecting.

Beethoven to Billy Joel, Cole Porter to The Clash, Blondie to Buffet, Marley to Patsy Cline, Buena Vista Social Club to Gogol Bordello, Zeppelin to Billy Branch, Steely Dan to Black Sabbath and everything in between. (We even have old Goodyear (as in tire company) Christmas compilations. We dispose of nothing!)

There's so much out there - don't pidgeonhole yourself into just a few styles. After all, it's a mood thing.

Music - like laughter - is good for the soul.

I'm with the Isa's on this one...I love all kinds of music! Mills Brothers, Glenn Miller, Queen, Aldo Nova, No Doubt, Bach...the list is endless. The only thing I have trouble stomaching is Rap...the lyrics are sickening...I won't let my kids buy it. I know some isn't soooo bad, but the hard-core is offensive. Just my opinion;)
