Hello!
I have been living in Buenos Aires for a total of 8 months now and previously lived in Bogota for 5. It's time to get out of this city and start exploring again since I can barely live of what I'm making teaching English and my funds are rapidly decreasing with the unbelievable rates of inflation here!
Anyway, my sister is coming at the end of July and we want to travel up to Mexico. I have already travelled to Bolivia, Peru and Chile and am not interested in going back (I am but not enough cash).. So we are looking at going from Buenos Aires to Rio, and I'm wondering weather it would be smarter to fly from Rio to Mexico and work our way down through Central America until we get back to Colombia (then fly back to BA) OR if we should fly from Rio to Colombia, work our way up through Central America until Mexico and then fly back to Buenos Aires. Also want to include an Amazon trip in there somewhere.
Anyone have any advice on this, the cheapest, easiest, smartest option or will it be similar either way?
Thanks for the help!
