Thnks, I agree with you DocNY, I think SEAsia is starting to turn into a package tourist destination. I guess I was just worried with doing the same places that I did last time.
But now, we have thought about it a little more and are thinking of maybe skipping SEAsia and trying to still do Chiang Mai (CELTA course), Laos, Yunnan China, maybe Tibet (depends on money, as you need a tour guide) , Nepal, Northern India and then Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
Gosh I'm terrible, I really do love to travel and look up countries and find out more about them, but it can be a hinderence as it has made me want to travel EVERYWHERE!! We'll probably change our minds again, but I think right now we are ready to get off the beaten track a little. I think that most of SEAsia has been quite well travelled (except East Timor) whereas the Stans to us seem like quite an adventure.
But saying that, South America does sound so amazing and after reading this I did make my boyfriend promise that we'll travel there some day!
