Planning a long trip

We are planning a trip from Spokane Washington to:
Glacier NP
Yellowstone NP
Grand Canyon Via Zion and Bryce NPs
Taos.
Santa Fe
Leaving Spokane on September 9th we have until 4th October to make the most of our time in the USA.
My wife and I are New Zealanders, but we are familiar with the USA and long drives do not faze us.
Any suggestions as to the best routes, (avoiding Interstate Highways where possible) points of interest and accommodation will be greatly appreciated.

Zinfandel, that's a LOT of ground to cover so to expect enough advice to cover that whole trip is in my opinion way too much to ask on a travel forum.

That said, rest assured that everything you've mentioned is very easy to research. Those are all very famous tourist attractions so there's a wealth of information easily available.
