RC2012 has indicated that this thread is about Asia

Im travelling SEA for about 6 months and then off to Aus for 1 year...

What travel insurance should I get? Does anybody know a good company? also does anyone know how much this should roughly cost?

Thanks

Ryan

Shop around till you find a price you like and cover you like. For SEA, get a company that will fly you home if worst comes to worst.

A good company would be one that paid out, and that can alter due to circumstances.

You MUST tell them if you plan anything remotely dangerous or if you have any past medical problems as if you give them a get out clause not to pay, they will take it.

Travel insurance is insurance that is intended to cover medical expenses, financial default of travel suppliers, and other losses incurred while traveling, either within one's own country, or internationally. Temporary travel insurance can usually be arranged at the time of the booking of a trip to cover exactly the duration of that trip.

Thanks a lot,
Toni

Ryan,
I did find this website that compares travel plans. Plug in your dates and see what is offered. Good luck.

It's just a stupid spammer quoting wikipedia in order to appear legitimate. I've marked the post for deletion.
