dhaka, Bangladesh - dirty, smelly. No information screens, flights delayed and no one knows when your flight will depart. They tell you just to wait and buy food at the restaurant (they don't offer vouchers). Their airplanes no better.

I can only speak for the US. I've been to almost 200 of them. I worked at 9....Best Chicago O'Hare. Worst LAX. This is just overall...if we got into specifics. Tucson/LAX/Rochester/New Haven have the worst security.
Phoenix has the best food (although maybe that is an oxymoron?heheh)Las Vegas has the best casino (ok, ok, they have the only gambling) This thread could go on forever.....especially if we got into the individual airlines ;)

Zante or Zakynthos in Greece.

Most of the international flights for the island come and go on the same night, whilst the airport is only big enough to hold two flights worth of people. As the airport is so small you have to queue outside for eveything and then when you do finally get through to the departure lounge you wish you were back outside, as they somehow cram six flights worth of passengers into the tiniest space ever, where there's not even space to stand. defiantely not a good way to round of a lovely holiday!

I am not sure of the best... But the worst for now is surely JFK-New York... Too big, your luggages have tendency to get lost etc... And there is a serious lack of communication between airlines!! Well, well, as a matter of fact due to my worst airport experience, and my parents (it happened to them too, in the same airport... )

We are all avoiding JFK every time we have to book a flight! (even if that means spending a bit more for the ticket! )

í don't know if airports get much better than singapore changi airport. the shopping, the atmosphere, the gardens, everything is pretty incredible. i was there around midnight once on a connecting flight to paris and it was such a hub of activity it could have been midday!! you've got to love the sunflower garden aswell, if you can stand the humidity!

Kuala Lumpur is very modern and inviting - but out of town (I had to take a bus, than train and taxi).
