I have a small problem with baggage. I have been flying with aerosvit which is a Ukrainian airlines. To make a long story short, our baggage was lost and never found. We filed a claim and had good communication with the the company. We filed all the appropriate documentation until the time when we were told to wait. Its been close to 9 months that the company told us to wait and the past 2 months we were not able to get to the insurance dept at all. When we tried to call using a different number, we are always told that the processing is in effect. We have kept all the documentation copies, receipts, and notification of mail receipts.
Can anyone tell us how we can proceed to get our money back for the claim? When do I need/or even if I should get a lawyer?
