Hey everyone,

I need to book a flight from Singapore to Tokyo/Osaka next June and ive only been looking at flights with AirAsia. Is there any other airlines worth looking at for cheaper prices or is AirAsia the best to book with?

Matt

I flew with Air Asia several times in SE Asia and thought they were excellent. They're probably the best budget airline in the region in terms of price and reliability but have a look at Jetstar Asia too as they can have good deals.

Do shop around as AirAsia's hidden charges can mean they are not as cheap as they first appear to be.

Try kayak and the like.

It's a bit early to book next June now.

Scoot Airlines - the LCC branch of Singapore Airlines, will start service to Tokyo in 2012

from airlineroute.net:

"Singapore Airlines’ low-cost carrier Scoot starting 18SEP12 will launch Singapore – Taipei Taoyuan service, initially operates 3 times a week on board Boeing 777 aircraft, and increases to daily from 28OCT12. The airline at later date will extend this route to Tokyo, with announcement due in the coming weeks."

Cheers for the info guys! Shame the scoot airlines flights will be prob too late for me. I'll shop around seeing as I've got a few weeks for the dates to be available.
