2014 Round the World Travel

Ahh the plans are defo coming together, I got in touch with the people you did maxi, they've estimated my flits around 2000ish, buti need to give them more information, which I am about to do , just got off work until 6.30 then back in till 9.30. And yer, it's pretty awesome, but wouldnt be able to think about saving that much if we had to pay rent and bills etc s we struck lucky defo.
Scott, if you are willing to make it a tad later that you set off you'd be an awesome addition to the little group we've got. S far we have 4 altogether and you'd make five, would be awesome. All of us doing the trains Siberian rail!!!, excitement events over whelming, I just want to skip these two years and get straight into it.
Tilly, I'm same a you, I don't want to get a loan unnecessarily so definitely want to save enough! I'm thinking once me and g have saved our first 2/3 thousand, putting that in an isa t get a bit interest oN it, help saving a little.
I'm also planning on bungee jumping, the highest bungee in the world... Figured if I'm going to do it for my first time, may as well do it properly, ha!

Wow, so tempted to join you. But 2014 is a long time! Was planning on doing the trans-mongolian route to Beijing in March-April ish of 2013. Will have to think things through now!

Oh and Maxi, I'm from Cheltenham too and checked your profile out and I hope you enjoyed the footy this summer with Will! haha. Just added you on facebook as well mate.

Small world eh! Well random you know will - see you know Chaz, Dan and Dorman as well! Weird. Had an incredible summer thanks - it's proved the catalyst for this really.

I've created a closed group on Facebook which Natalie and myself are now in - just a place to share info/plans/links etc

I would love to go on a trip like this. I have always dreaming about something like this.
Firstly, I am going to spain for 3 weeks in October, after that I will be planning what's next

Hey, I went to gran canaria for a month in June/July, was absolutely fantastic kind of wish we did t have to come back but family commitments stopped us staying longer, but on the bright side I get to travel more places when I've saved enough

if you are doing the USA, don't you like the national parks ? We did plan some months for a 3 week trip and we had just enough time to see everything ! Try to do some of these (what we did this summer): mid and south West of the USA (Seattle -> Flathead Lake -> Glacier Nat Park -> White Sulphur Springs -> Yellowstone -> Salt Lake City -> Bryce -> Cedar Breaks -> Zion NP -> Monument valley -> Grand Canyon -> Havaii Supaii -> Las Vegas -> Death Valley -> Mammoth Lakes -> Yosemite NP -> San Francisco -> Los Angeles.

So to know if you have enough time..it depends what you want to do... just a roadtrip? visiting the cities? the national parks (they are huge and mindblowing) ... ? May 2013 i will do the rest of the USA and i will plan 6 months for central/east USA + Canada.
