Hello guys,

Do you know any useful apps for travelers?

There are many articles about those, but everyone is different.
So let’s post some apps that we use. :)

My friend recommended me this on -snip-
Travel Alarm Clock

Because of his work as business developer.
he flies a lot, so he uses this alarm to manage his time.

I like to have a VoIP app for calling home - most hostels have WiFi these days and it's much cheaper than normal operators or even international calling cards.

I personally like Plingm, it's pretty new but really good! If your friends/family also have it, calls are free, otherwise there you can buy minutes to make international calls to landlines and mobiles. Works for iOS and Android (I have it on my iPad!).

I personally couldn´t travel without my iphone anymore. I find the app "TripIt" really useful. It allows you to plan your trip and than take all important information with you. Otherwise I also bought navigation apps like "CoPilot" or "Sygic" to find my way around without having to rely on expensive foreign data rates. And appart from that I also use "Hostelworld" to book hostels on the go.
