Guatemala City - Things to do?

I am having trouble making confirmed transportation plans from Guatemala City to Copan, Honduras for a two day side trip before spending five days in Antigua during Semana Santa.

If we're stuck in Guatemala City are there any suggestions about activities that might fill up two days of time?

Thanks

Hi mate. When will u be in Guatemala? I`m arriving on the 14 of march, spending from one to two months there.
Have u been there before? What do you think about it?

Cheers

I know nothing about night life, etc., but there are many museums in Guatemala City, as you can imagine, but two of the city's most important are The Museo Ixchel del Traje Indigena and the Museo Popol Vu, which are in large, new buildigns in Zona 10 at the Universidad Francisco Marroquin.

The first is devoted to the village arts and crafts of the highland Indians. Popul Vu has an important collection, since much of it is pre-Colonial.

I do hope your Copán trip works out. And that the newish museum is open again. It was closed two months ago when friends were there.
