So far we have thought about a 2nd year visa, but it all depends on how the first year goes. I mean i may not like the hot weather, or living near a beach or the beautiful sceneary haha as if!

Like you said, its not like your 10 mins down road from your family or friends. So i think it would be a tough choice to make. Plus we also want to travel the south east and America, so who knows were we could end up settling. Could be Sydney, Texas or good old Leeds!

Scuba diving is on our list too, plus visitng frazer island, and ideally would love to spend xmas and new year in Sydney. We havent really got a plan, just going to go with the flow because no doubt our plans will always change anyway.

The idea was mine. I asked James at the beginning of this year, as all our friends are mainly settling down and i didnt want to get a house or have kids or even get a pet dog lol. I wanted to see the world before any of that happened, as i didnt want to live in regret in 10 years time wishing i would have done it!. Luckily for me James felt the same :-). How did you two go about planning it?

Ah yes we have been told that too, its a test on your relationship! Personally i dont see how it is.

Anyway hope your both having a good day :-)

Yeah thats the same thoughts that we had! Theres always the chance of not liking it, people do say nothings like home.

Its difficult having to leave our family and friends, its been a shock to them because it was quite a quick decision that we made. Although they do say it will be a good experience, i tend to agree! Me and Gene didnt really expand from Aussie, we are now thinking that we would like to go to New Zeland and see what its like there.

I like to plan way ahead, problem is i know its not going to work out that way so im trying to think out the box and just come up with ideas. Who knows where you will end up. Are you considering driving over there?

I (Sophie) had actually suggested it, we was thinking of other ideas that we could do for a short while and not many ideas came up. We both agreed and thought it would be a good idea and weve been set on it since.

It would be nice to get to know you guys a bit better, what do you two do for a living?

If you dont hear from us in while its because were on holiday, going to Italy! Need a break from all the hard work.

Speak Soon.

Yes we thought about driving because not only could it be a cheaper option it is also better for the sceneary, as cant imagine we would see much flying from place to place. Plus i would love to get a litte campervan have the true travellers life.

Only downside to us getting a car is James cant drive. Which means it would be me driving everywhere, which i honestly dont mind doing, as i do it over here all the time. It will just be tiring. and having alot more breaks than normal. But all part of the journey i suppose :-)

Can both you and Gene drive?

I work as an accounts clerk and James work as a labourer. What about yourselves?

Hope you have a good holiday and enjoy yourselves :-).

Hey guys!

How have you been? Been pretty busy since we got back from hol's. Any news we’ve missed from you guys and Aussie? We've just inquired with the docs over the past couple of days about vaccinations. Wondered if you've looked into it yet or whether you're all covered?

We considered hiring a campervan to. Only short term here or there so we can travel coast lines ect. Defo the best way to see the real Aussie. You're brave though doing all the driving! We can both drive so I'd definitely be sharing that job with Soph. You should get him to do his test quick time before you go :P

I'm a plumber working for a local domestic heating company and Soph works in administration for a Catering and Bakery maintenance company. Luckily we both work only 10 mins from home :)

Hope you're both well, sorry for taking a little while to get back to you, time flies.

G & Soph.
