I've tried searching online, just an overload of information so I thought I'd ask on here! I am a beach lifeguard in the UK and wish to travel to Australia to work on their beaches for my winter (AUS summer) from October to March.
My question is can I get 2 6month visa's, so I can come back the year after, October 2013 > March 2014? Instead of a 12month visa?
Thanks a lot!
No, you can't, at least not "working holiday visas". Those really last for a year from the date of first entry. See for example: "Any time spent outside Australia while on your first or second Working Holiday visa does not extend the length of the visa."
If you could cram in 3 months of specified work (harvest e.a.) next to the lifeguarding, you could qualify for a second year visa, but otherwise you'll be looking at one of the many 'real' work visas, which can last much longer than a year, but also have a lot of hassle and requirements to actually get them.

Thanks for the quick reply, I was aware of the 3months specified work, I'll do for the last 3 months of my stay so I can come back!
Unfortunately they will not sponsor lifeguards as its seasonal
