3 Months South America - How Much Money?

Hey,

Im travelling to South America in October for 3 months, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, Brazil.

Please can you help me with the amount of money i will need for this trip?

I'd like at least £1,000 a month for such a trip though ideally a good bit more.

Flights are expensive though with that much time presumably you will be using buses mostly?

In my opinion it's very subjective to you as an individual, for example me and my partner probably spent about £3000 in 3 months. However we quickly left Brazil realising it was expensive and spent almost a month in Bolivia where it was far cheaper.

I did pretty much the same trip you're planning with Chile added on at the end. I'd suggest taking more than I did though as although I had the best time towards the end there were a couple of things I ducked out on due to funds.

Is Brazil just as expensive as here?
