Okay folks, let's keep it nice now.... No more comments aimed at each other please but more a discussion. Remember, it's ok to agree to disagree...

Thx

Wasn't aware Charles had marital problems. He has a woman he loves and wants to marry - no problem there. It just seems other people have a problem with it, mostly the same people who complain that the royals are not 'modern enough'. Then Charles gets married for a 2nd time, which a huge percentage of the UK population do, and these narrow minded people have a go at him for it.

I also think NZ becoming a republic is not dependant on Prince Charles marital status.

Hey Sam

Is this thread in the correct forum?

The main question posed was travel related so yes. We generally aren't too picky on this as long as it is not really misplaced...

Dang! I was thinking about heading to London again one day - but what with the Ministry of Silly Walks and the surprise attacks by the Spanish Inquisition...

What's your opinion on this one then?

"...Is it wrong to generalize about individuals or groups from a particular culture, OR cultural background ... even if the generalizations are correct?..."

Does it belong in the "General Forum"?

It ended up in the off topic question since it was started as only a question. You can say what you want about massageuk's posts regarding the monarchy, but he definitely has an opinion.

Anyway, like I mentioned, it's not a fine art and sometimes things get moved, sometimes they don't. Hard calls sometimes too (oh the things we moderators have to live with )
