Goa, Kerala, Shimla, Manali, Delhi, Rajasthan, Kashmir are the top places to visit in India.

South India part such as Kerala is best place in India to travel especially in the month of December and if you want to travel North India you can choose Mumbai, Agra, Rajasthan, Hyderabad etc.. Have a nice journey

If you have a passion to historic monuments, go see Taj Mahal and other sights in Agra like Fort, Sikandra, Mariam Tomb. You can check some e-guides or phone travel apps about Agra - there are lots of them with images, audio tours and other cool info. That's what I did before going to India.
