Travel Forums System Talk My profile just got wiped out...

1. Posted by CheersTerry (Inactive, 9 posts) 9 Aug '12 11:48

I just logged on and my post count has dropped from the hundreds down to 10, all my private messages are gone, my profile is gone...

Any ideas what happened?

Cheers,
Terry

I think your usual username is CheersT, not this CheersTerry you're using at the moment. Try logging out, and then back in with that other username. :)

I think CheersTerry came from when I was somewhere on another computer and totally forgot my log-in info.

If you could delete/whip-out the CheersTerry persona I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Cheers,
Terry

I can't do that (only admins can, not moderators), but you could do this yourself. At the bottom of the "Edit your profile" page (accessed from the control panel), there's a link to Inactivate Your Account. (Please doublecheck that you're logged in as CheersTerry rather than as CheersT when submitting that page!)

Sam/Peter: It'd be really good if that Inactivate Account page would show the logged in username somewhere on it (preferably on the inactivate button). It currently doesn't.

Hehe, I wondered what had happened. I thought you just fancied a change Terry! :)

Phew, got kind of worried when I saw this popping up in my feed reader!

No frigging clue what a feed reader is Sam, but I'm glad I startled you, haha...
