Hello everyone, I'm going to to Hong Kong in September for about 4 days until I travel to Shanghai and I don't want to fly due to its expense so instead I've decided to take a train.
My question is that I'll be acquiring a Chinese Visa in Hong Kong for my travels in China itself, so if I'm taking a train from e.g. Hung Hom station in Kowloon straight to Shanghai, will I be asked for my passport/visa at the station when buying a ticket, on arrival or whilst I'm actually travelling on the train?
How does it work? I want to get my visa accepted and done with and miss any unnecessary intervening which can be avoided.
