Hi all, just a bit of history first. I've been a member of TP for what seems many years now. I don't have a huge post count because life got in the way for a couple of years as I developed my career and did a few things in Africa. But I keep coming back time and time again.

As a professional travel writer I visit a bank vault of travel websites and blogs every day and I can still, hand on heart, say the Travellerspoint is my favourite and constant source of information.

I once worked briefly - very briefly due to my lack of knowledge and time - as an editor here on Travel Unravelled and can honestly say that everyone involved in TP's organisation, owners, workers, volunteers, members really are representative of the voices of real travellers. Not like many of the 'let's make a quick buck from travel' websites that are flourishing at present.

Congratulations to Travellerpsoint, in my humble opinion, for being the No 1 travel website around.

Aw, thanks Brendan!! Obviously it's the members that make a site like TP great, so thanks to all of you that keep coming back, even if life does get in the way from time to time! :)

It's sometimes hard to believe we've been at this over ten years, because it's been tons of fun along the way!

Good to see you back Brendan, the beers are on me!!

Congratulations to everyone on TP for making this the best site around. 10 years??? Criminy, time flies when you're having fun....we've been on for 7 1/2 of those years, and it seems like just yesterday we were all flitting around the world on the Martini Blimp.....

Don't forget the Super Secret Martini Lounge in the TP basement, the Super Secret TP OFfice Cave in Melbourne, and the TP Pirate Ship and it's wonderful crew!!

Thanks Sam and Peter for creating this lovely site! Thanks to all the great members too.

Brendan, it's good to see you again! We've missed you - lots!!! ;)

Great post and well said Brendan. I don't know what I'd do without TP to be honest! :)
