Wocca! Your pictures are breathtaking!

As for the rest...I take people at their word until they prove them wrong with actions. Speaking as someone who has made more bad decisions than I care to admit and had some god-awful things happen that were much beyond my control..I can empathize. But if that old saying is true "You are never given more than you can handle" I would really like to talk to the person who thinks I can handle so much!.....I must get off this soapbox....I just want to say....I enjoy this little community...the people, the posts...amazing how we can see ourselves in others posts...and how sometimes you wish you could reach into the screen and slap the person who wrote another....I just hope, it doesn't end anytime soon. :)

I'm glimpsing through this forum on my way out the door for a day of training, but for my two cents' worth:

I'm suspicious because I can't believe so much bad can happen to one person. It's the unfairness of it that makes me take a second look. It's not that I doubt our Wocca, but rather that I was wondering whether or not he was trying to prove a point to us that curiosity is as curiosity does. I don't doubt for a second that Wocca was being deceiving or dishonest - he (you!) have a way of coming at life like a Chinese proverb: that is, understanding that much lies beneath the surface than mere words can't explain. Thus, the need for a proverb. But we've been raised so "straight" that those proverbs often fly right over our heads.

As for having bad luck in one's life - don't we make our own luck? One can have all things going right on the outside, but spend a miserable lifetime on the inside. One can lose everything and be stronger and happier than if you hadn't.

But, Wocca, just to be sure: I started this thread and others about you because you are fascinating and you make us think. I also want to be honest about what you make me think - in this case, that your story is so terribly "unlucky" as to be almost unbelievable. I'd still and always give you a huge hug should I ever meet you in person. ;)

I didn't mean to "step on any toes" yesterday and I didn't mean for my remarks to come across in an angry way. They were purely observation and I'm glad you're still talking to me! I also did not plan t have my comments about bad things sound as defensive as it does - now that I have gone back and read what I wrote there.

Hey Gretchen, I think this is exactly how we can learn from each other and form even stronger relationships. Now, why wouldnt I talk to you? We were both being honest and I just love that about you, Warren, Evelyn, Joz, Tway etc etc etc. I love people's honesty, even when it hurts or when it isnt exactly what you wanted to hear. So dont keep yourself from making a personal remark about a post because you think someone may get offended. The truth is you will always offend someone and you cant never make everyone happy...as for me, I love to hear people trying to make a good point as you have many a time. Love ya'...

Wocca, to me, is a breath of fresh air but I have become so accustomed to his philosophical and Socratarian ways that I am taken aback to see the "real" side, the hard cold thruth about someone's life. I certainly appreciate his honesty and candor whether here or another forum .... I may have the chance to meet Warren in April if things work out ..."

You're still gorgeous, Anne

Now...what exactly is that supposed to mean? Is this another way to word a Chinese proverb?

I have a hard time stopping myself from doing most things and voicing my opinion doesn't have tight reins I'm afraid. And, you are right - someone will always find offense in something. With me, what you see is what you get. I'm sure this discussion isn't done yet.

You must be Wocca's lost twin sister then. He seems to have the same issue (wouldnt call it a problem). I think we have kept everybody out of this forum for good hahaha...hear the quietness??

If so, that's the longest delivery time on record for twins - 15 YEARS!

I am still rather new here, so forgive my lack or prior knowledge on the subject of Wocca. I just want to convey my thoughts on this thread.

I think it is fantastic. It would be great if everyone could answer such questions so openly. I know wocca better than most members of my family. Perhaps I should send out a questionnaire to learn more about them.

I hope I am not the only one that feels this way...but...(there is always a but) I find it easier to be blunt online...the partial anonymity of it all...makes it easier for me to express myself (although not always eloquently) The only downfall is that sometimes when I am making light, it may come across as sarcasm...Because of things that have happend to me in my life, and knowing what little time is left....Lets just say life is too short for Bull****. I say what I mean and I mean what I say. And I admire and respect that in others;)
