Hi guys,

has anyone taken the bus trip from Dar to Mombassa...? is it safe...? Can Indians get visa on arrival at the land border...? Any good bus company..? please let me know...

I did that trip in january this year. I think yes you will get a visa on arrival. Good bus companies are many. I can take you to Ubungo to see them and have a choice.

Yes Indians get visa, if you are visiting as a tourist there is a tourist visa that you shall be awarded after payment of 50$ USD single entry multiple entry a fee of 100$ USD.

Nationals of the following countries do not need visas to travel to Kenya: Bahamas, Bangladesh, Barbados, Botswana, Brunei-Darussalam, Cyprus, Dominica, Ethiopia, Fiji Islands, Gambia, The, Ghana, Grenada, Jamaica, Kiribati, Lesotho, Malawi, Maldives, Mauritius, Namibia, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, San Marino, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Solomon Islands, St Lucia, St Vincent & The Grenadines, Swaziland, Tanzania, Tonga, Turkey, Tuvalu, Uganda, Uruguay, Vanuatu, Zambia, Zimbabwe

Travelling in a bus is safe to Mombasa from Dar es Salam fare should cost you an upward of over 30USD.
