dammit Jo...now that's just no good! if you were down further south you could come leprachaun/step-mum bashing with me.

we'll definitely meet while you're here though...if not on paddy's day some other ;)

More than likely I will still be in Dublin...but Eve! That offer may be too good to pass up! :) (the step-mum bashing;)

I'll actually be in the St Patrick's Day parade on a float and everything! I can't wait! I've always wanted to be on a float (well, it's more of a flat-bed truck, but I digress...). Then after that I have to work...but I'll probably meet up with some people from work at wherever they'll be drinking it up.

Cheers,
Katie ;)

Let me just say that the St Patty's Day parade in Montreal was a blast! Not as many people as usual, but we all drank and were merry! :) The people from my work crammed onto the flatbed truck (which we called a float) with cuban music playing (it goes with a promotion our station has right now) and it was fun! Then we all went drinking after....wooo hoo! Good times.

Hi Katie!
I watched the parade from the very end, standing up top at Place des Arts. Don't know if I saw you - but I must have waved in your general direction at some point! Were you on the flat-bed that looked like it was about to collapse at any moment...?

By the end of the line, everyone on the floats looked pretty tired (or maybe they all just really needed to pee...). It seemed like there were less people at the parade, until we tried to find a seat in any of the Irish pubs. Ended up at Bens!

Ah Sally,
Like you I will be drowning my sorrows wishing I was back in NYC for Patty's Day like my previous ones.
Saying that only five and a half months and I'll be back there for me hols!!!

That was probably us! We were also the only radio station playing latin music....lol....which was really funny. Nothing says St. Patty's Day like salsa!
