for the irish name thingy I like

for girls - Arlana, Keavy, Lavena
for boys - Eoghan, Tadhg, Zephan

but if i had kids i'm not sure what i would name them, one of my mates named her little boy Bran (pr brawn), it means Raven in Irish but he's really pale skinned , with blonde hair so its a bit strange,

can't believe i have to work on friday !! no fair !!! and have to work late tonight so i can get off tomorrow

I had NO meetings scheduled for Thursday, March 17th, so I was planning on ducking out of work early to make sure I could get a place at the bar.

And then what happens today, a client reschedules a meeting for 3:30pm tomorrow, which means I won't be able to get out of the office until 4:30. I might not even GET into a bar by that time.

To paraphrase that old saying:

If Greg can't go to the bar, then the bar must go to Greg.

You poor unfortunate. How did this happen?
It's cruelty to human nature to have to work on St. Pat's. I did years ago when I worked in a bar and managed to get very drunk so it doesn't count.

I think I may have to drop my ceiling painting plans and go have a pint to make up for your loss.

Big Irish hugs your way.

Quoting samsara2

I advise a few pints - for medicinal purposes only, of course.;)

Apparently alcohol will cause an infection, and through a drunken stupour you don't feel what your doing so i might bite it or something.

It's not just Paddy's day, i've been working flat out for weeks on assignment work and have three days of drunken dabourchery planned. Paddys day, a houseparty at mine friday and a night at my local when i go home saturday. :(

Even though some of you will be getting a late start tomorrow...I hope you all have a wonderful time! Oh, and have one for me! ;)

Ow, my head hurts today.

Because I didn't get out of the office until 5pm, there was no chance to get into one of Toronto's many Irish pubs (which, as Gelli said somewhere, aren't run by Irish people at all). However, as the NCAA basketball tourney also started yesterday, I went to a local sports bar. I drank too much.

On the plus side, I went 14 for 16 in my NCAA pool yesterday, which puts me in 2nd place.

Ooohh, I knew ALL of you would be hurting today I was good, I got out of work so late that I didnt even try to hit the pubs so I drank a couple of green apple martinis all by myself. They were goooood.
