First time traveler, wanting to go to Thailand then Oz
Hi guys, I am currently 25 (male) and I have decided fairly recently that I am fed up of working my dead end quite good paid job and want to go travel!
I am wanting to leave the UK around October 2014 giving me a year to save up (and my current job finishes around that time anyway)
My main plan is to go to Oz on a Travel/Work visa and gain my 2nd year visa and stay in the country for the full 2 years.
But I want to stop off at Thailand before I enter Oz.
Leave the UK and go to Bangkok, is a month long enough or too long? I will be on my own. I have no idea of what to expect or what to do, so help would be appreciated.
I was then thinking of going to Sydney from there, have some fun and work, work my way around Oz for a while to get some more money and my needed work to gain my 2nd year visa.
What things should I take??
Sorry for all the questions but this is all new to me, furthest I have been is Turkey.. on a weeks holiday lol

Thailand is a great place to visit, and I highly suggest stopping by on your way to oz. What are you planning on doing in oz? I have never been there and am looking for some places to see in case I ever venture that way.
