I'm currently in the process of saving for a long stay in Australia, and I'm getting to the point where I'm going to buy tickets to wherever I'm going to go, and it's really time to try and sort out what I'm doing? I'm trying to look around and find advice for things to do and which cities to go at what times.
I'm going to be travelling on my own around January 2013, so will there be any seasonal work still around in the more rural areas of Aus? I want to make sure I see things like Uluru and some of the rest of the Outback, as well as the cities, and I had heard that farm work would be available, though maybe not at this time. Another option would be working in bars - I've done this before but I've heard you need an RSA? Is there anywhere reputable i can get this before I go? I've also seen stuff like OzIntro and UltimateOz - are these any good?
I've done something like this before as I went out to work in Ibiza without any prior contacts and managed fine, but I'll be arriving out of season for some areas and I'm trying to work some stuff out. Any advice on things to do, or if anyone's thinking out heading out there at the same time, give me a shout and maybe we could go together! Would help to get my feet under me when I get out there
Any help would be really appreciated, this is a big step from what I've done before,
