lol, ok I got in this one late (as usual! I should check this board more often).....

Welcome to TP "the artist formerly known as X" !

And happy St Patty's Day!

I hope to see you at our meet up in Montreal! It will be on a weekend so even if you are in school, maybe you can pop on down.

Russia seems like a great place to visit...if you have any quirky travel stories, I'd love to hear them!

"There are only two things in this world that scares me and one is nuclear war."
"What's the other?"
"Carnies. Circus folk. Nomads, you know. Smell like cabbage. Small hands."

Cheers,
Katie ;)

Thanks for the welcome!

I would love to be in Montréal at the ned of september, but living on the west coast of Canada does make it a bit far and expensive... flights I would get are around $300?

I do a have a bunch of interesting stories from Russia, most certainly! (for me anyway )

I wrote a journal while I was there an am in the process of putting it online, that is mainly what my site Pozos.ca is about.

I am not very far in with it, takes awhile to do all of the editing and filling out... What I wrote wasn't very complete, more like a refresher journal so I could write it out in full later.

Well Brendan we've already met...you've been all over the threads in this past week. I can see you are enjoying TP as much as we do. Isnt it addicting? "Hello, my name is Brendan and I am..."

25. Posted by Brendan (Respected Member 1824 posts) 11y

haha yeah I know what you mean. Lots of fun around here!

Ah, Brendan, you're just saying that to make all us addicts feel better about our addiction. (Or, are we all just afflicted???)

Maybe it is more to justify my own addiction

I have been wondering - you are probabley asked a lot - why not have two account instead of sharing one?

You are actually the first - believe it or not!

I'm the one who originally found TP (in a search) when we were planning to go to Panama (been and back already). I started posting and really enjoyed the site. Kris (Mr Isa) does most of his internet surfing from work and doesn't get much time for that - plus the powers-that-be monitor once in awhile. (Guess there's a bit of online gambling and porn viewing going on in other divisions.) When he decided he wanted to answer a thread - he thought he could stop at one () - he just used my account. Since then, he's just been logging on through "isadora" and the rest is history.

I thought he might set up his own account but he's content to share and so am I, for that matter. I thought it may cause a problem with Sam and Pete, but it hasn't and they are aware we are really 2 people. Kris will always start his replies with "Mr. Isa here..." so everyone can tell who's who. Now, in things like Live Chat, we're just the Isa's. I think the natives are finding it somewhat fascinating.

We share most everything else - personality, sense of humor, good looks, most opinions - why not this?! Hope it won't confuse you too much.

Sorry for the long answer... (Yeah, we both like to talk/write too.)

Now, now, you didn't think we were really that bad did you?? :)

By the way, good question Brendan. I only figured it out last week myself! But I was still too intrigued to ask about it

No Sam, I didn't think the Brothers Daams were really that bad! I thought you may have a rule that each member was required to have their own account. Mr. Isa was willing to set one up if that had been the case. Didn't want to ruffle any feathers! But, it did come up in Live Chat w/Pete and I asked if it was a problem. He answered no. Anyway, I think it was no, but he could have been saying no to someone else's question. It was fast and furious that day...

Anyway, thanks for letting us have our duel personality!!! And, the questions prompted by intrigue are always the best. We're just one big open book, but you may not want to read some of the chapters!

Have we overloaded you, Brendan????
