Hi tech savvy peeps,

I am redesigning my blog for a bit of fun, I have no skills in HTML so have really just played around but I have 2 things I cannot work out how to change or if they are possible. I understand there are limitations to what you can do but if anyone has any suggestions it would be much appreciated.

My page: http://reganasaurus-rex.travellerspoint.com

1. I want to extend the map out to the margin to line up with the navigation bar. The dimensions in the html that I keep thinking will do that doesn't do anything as such. I don't mind if the map if the same height, but just expand the width, just to get rid of the blank space between the map and the navigation bar column.

2. At the very bottom where the reader can navigate to further pages, I have managed to change the links (the pages i'm not on) to orange but the rest stays black which is lost in the background. I can't work out if I can change just that black text to a brighter colour without it changing all the primary content text from black?

If anyone can help that would be cool
Thanks :)

Yep, both can be done. The map is quite tricky because the structure of the html is a bit messed up in there, but this should achieve what you want quite reliably:

#mapInnertp1, #maptp1 {width:600px !important;}

This one will take care of that navigation text at the bottom:

#entrynavigation {color:#fff;}

Add both of these to the end of your CSS and all should be hunky dory!

hey so where do you go to do these tinkerings!? i didnt know we had that much control over our blogs and i just looked around and can't find anywhere that lets you add code in the way you describe. ie 'to the end of your CSS" i see a code button, so do we press that at the end of the blog post and add the code?

AHHH! just found it. template / current selection / customize this template.
