Hello!

My boyfriend and I are just about to embark on a three month trip to Africa, at the end of our trip (around the end of november) we will be in Uganda.

We really really want to see Gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable forest. I've heard mixed things about booking this from home or booking it when we're there...

I've hear there is a maximum of 16 people in the park at any one time, and also that you should book a few months in advance. But booking over the internet means that the money isn't going to the right place...Is this true?

Can anyone advise on whether we should book it now, before we go? And if so, who should we do it through?

Any advice would be gratefully received!

Cheers!

Em;)

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable forest is most desirable by every tourist in Uganda. You had better book in advance to confirm that permits for your requested dates are present. Booking from the official website would help!

Good luck! :)

You need to book your Gorilla permit early and this can be done through a tour and travel agent or through the Uganda Wildlife Authority. Bwindi has almost 10 Gorilla families and each family is visited by only 8 people per day. A gorilla permit Costs USD 500 each.
