am actually heading down to Australia to meet a friend but chances are, the plans might be toast
, so i am contemplating doing the coastal drive alone. is it a good idea, given the safety concerns?

Your profile says you are 21. If you are renting a vehicle, most agency's require you to be a minimum of 25, or you pay a very hefty extra cost for insurance.

You don't need to worry at all. It's quite safe! And as you don't even have to rent a car , there wont be any issues. Have a good trip
