Samsara2, funny moods are good - no need to explain.

I was in a funny mood today in the lift going up 34 floors to my office. There was this really ugly, fat, sweaty, old bloke standing opposite me and I swore he'd "dropped one" before I got in the lift.

I asked him how his dinner was last night; asked him wether he had baked beans on toast or bad spaghetti bolognese. He simply answered me with a very strange look.

The bugger stank!

Like Samsara2, I was in a "funny mood" and randomly asked him about his eating habits.

Never seen him before, and hope I never share an elevator with "old stinky" again!

I think I will follow your examples and say something really random to someone today!

Onto the post then...when I was five:

I had really long hair (down past my bum!) and my horrible boy cousins used to grab my plaits and pull them really hard!

I went to Malta on holiday and my dad taught me how to swim without water wings

My nan worked at Cadbury's and used to bring me lots of chocolate from the factory

My mum owned a hairdressing salon and I used to help her and play dress up in the gowns she used to cover people...I used to pretend I was a princess!

I hated boys

I went into hospital and had an operation, I remember crying when I woke up from the anesthetic and my dad was there to cuddle me!

I was a daddy's girl (probably still am to some extent!)

"...When I was 5, I mistakenly thought I was Wocca..."

At that time, Wocca slept in a dormitory with thin partition walls. He didn't say much, but there two little girls (Beverley & Ann) that invited him into their room. Once inside, they told Wocca he should hide behind the curtain covering their corner closet ... just in case someone came

Yes! In thy body, O sinner, with downy pillows beneath thy head, and a wife's tender arm to bear thee up, and a tender hand to wipe thy clammy sweat, thou will find it awful work to face the monster and feel his sting ...

  • People were talking Chinese around me exept my parents and my brother... Divina (our nany from Philipines) spoke English.

  • My favorite TV show was "My Little Pony & Friends"

  • Never understood why my brother wanted to mix up my Barbies with his GI Joes... Didn't he realize it couldn't work? (besides he was always playing wars... I prefered to have them all in love and happy!)

  • Our parents asked us if we wanted to move back to France. We answered "yes-because-we-d-like-to-see-the-snow-in-winter!" (No one thought that it doesn't snow that much in southern France, though...)

  • I learned to bike going down the hill.

  • I liked to swimm under water... (and I still do!)
