7) Like Vegas - what happens on the island, stays on the island

Except we will all want to STAY on the island...forever....what a way to go ;)!

Have we decided where this island is going to be? I vote the South Pacific - because, well, it's the South Pacific.

Mr. Isa suggested the island be Richard Branson's since he's busy with Steve Fossett flying around the world and won't be using it. Those who want to do the "roughing it" thing can take advantage of the jungle area and the main/guest houses can be split between the remainder, who want some creature comforts - like personal chefs, masseuse/masseur, etc.

I'm afraid with the likes of George, Johnny, Hugh, Antonio and the lead singer for Lighthouse Family attending, they're going to require some of the finer accomodations. On second thought, they can rough it and we all get the accomodations.

Add Paul Newman, Sean Connery and Peter O'Toole. (The others are going to be busy with all you younger girls, right Joz?) They all KNOW how to make a martini!

Paul can bring Joanne Woodward - she'll take care of the recycling.
Sean's wife stays home and decorates their new place in Panama.
Peter comes alone and brings more martini mixings and cigarettes (with the long cigarette holders from the 20s and 30s. (It's a looks thing.)

But, the South Pacific is okay too!!! I'm sure we can find suitable digs.

Whoops - missed your initial suggestion there. Where is Richard Branson's island? The South Pacific sounds far, far away (well, at least 24 hours away) which is terribly appealing. But any island with buff masseurs...

Erm, I guess you didn't mention "buff", though, did you...? One-track mind...

Lets find a completely deserted island, then build mud huts n stuff. Oh oh oh i get to make the treasure map!

Branson owns Necker Island in the British Virgins - 74 acres located off the west end of Virgin Gorda:

"Necker Island is Sir Richard Branson's well-known exclusive island in the British Virgin Islands. This luxurious 74-acre private island is off the west end of Virgin Gorda. The Balinese-style Great House has ten bedrooms, including a master bedroom with its own rooftop terrace complete with Jacuzzi. The Great House's other nine bedrooms have their own private bath and terrace. In addition to the Great House, there are two Balinese-inspired thatched guest villas, each with one bedroom, bath, and open-air sitting and dining area.

The staff of 18 ensures that guests find everything to their liking. But what's not to like? There's a gorgeous infinity pool just steps from the ocean, two pristine beaches, miles of hiking trails, a tennis court, and two additional swimming pools."

Matt, I think there's a deserted smaller sister island close by so you can make the treasure map!

Tway - sure the masseurs can be buff, or did you mean "in the buff"?

Did someone say 74 British virgins?

I thought not - my eyes are playing up.

It was wishful thinking on your part, James... But good luck looking for them - they might be hiding in the jungle. Matt's making a treasure map so you might get lucky and actually locate some!
