nah, i'm planning on leaving this one to just relaxation and exploring
if i do like it enough though, i may go back next year or the year after and do like a working holiday

you'll get to go too, though
maybe not this year, but you'll go
i'll only end up going if i don't chicken out >.<

hey guys..help!

im in an awkward situation...i have a real travelling bug and want to see the world, but im going out with a (really lovely) fella who has no interest in travelling. i have tried to beg him to consider even 3weeks in oz or nz but hes not interested. i thought we could manage a few hols a year to see different places but its just not the same, and its not working out that way with work constraints.

im now considering going it alone to somewhere far...ive 2 brothers n they both spent a year each in oz n nz and loved it, im so jealous! and feel i wil regret not doing this for the rest of my life

do i split with man and travel alone? or stay with him and get a mortgage n be stuck with a 25yr debt?

i would always suggest to do things for you and do what you feel is best!

my friend is in the exact same position at the moment.. but you never know if you will regret until you do which ever.

have you not suggested to him that you go and then after a few months come back? or would that not work?

but do what you feel you need to do... you only live once... the worlds such a big place you can meet so many new and interesting people..

Hope everything works out

thanks for your advice- but im not even sure if a few months would cure me!lol i was thinking of a year away...travel a bit...work a bit...travel a bit further... i dont know how these things work. ive good few pounds in bank n should be going towards a deposit on a house but im getting cold feet about it. im 26 from n.ireland, no kids n work as a carer so could get the job back if i needed.

im not scared about travelling alone, it would be some adventure! just dont wana have regrets!

wat r your travel plans?

I think it's really important you don't have regrets in life.
If you want to travel, it's probably best to do it now.
My opinion, anyway.

Sometimes timing isn't right. You may find someone else/meet back with him once your travelling days are over and it'll be better timing and work out.
