Hey Im a 24 yr old male leaving this November for Brisbane or Melbourne... Have you girls found out what the best way to live is over there? Im staying for a year on a WHV and am still unsure of what to do for living. Jobs I dont think will be a problem...
I'm not sure about living out there. But jobs on farms or something you be easily to pick up. Maybe find a room to rent or stay in cheap accoddamtion till you get up on your feet?!
Hey I'm 23 and leaving for Sydney in December. I'm also planning on staying a year on a WHV but am worried about where to settle down too. The first couple weeks I have hostels booked, but then I'm not sure what do, kind of hoping I'll run into other people in the same situation who want to get a place together, don't know that there's really any other way to plan ahead on that although I wish there was!
Sydney is a very safe place to travel.. there are many things to do it just depends on your interests
I am going to be in sydney for a week at the beginning on november on my own before I go to melbourne to do some conservation work for a couple of weeks. Anyone know how easy it is to meet people and any things you would recommend doing?
Im Leah, also 23, I'm planning on travelling Australia next year alone too. To be honest i also don't have a clue where to start!!
I think my aim is going to be to start my first week with oz intro, hopefully meet some nice people, then move on from there!!
Travelling is something i've GOT to do, getting older and been in my current job since 16, and decided i don't want this forever!! hope u go for it xxx
are you all back packing when you go to aus and just making your way around or?
I'm planning on settling down for awhile to work, maybe for 6 months or so to actually experience living in one place and saving up some money, maybe making short trips around Oz. Then the second half I want to do serious traveling- NZ, Fiji, other major cities in Australia, maybe Asia if there are cheap flights.
In not sure yet If I am goo back packing or hire a motor home for 4 weeks. X
