What's your favorite flags? (be fair and choose other than your country's flag!!!)

My favorites are Brazil and Canada...

I think Lebanon is the one? Has a tree on it right? Well I like that one.

I have always liked the flag from Greenland. It just stands out in it's simplicity.

Definitely BRAZIL first

And then, the unofficial sporting flag of Australia with the boxing kangaroo

Ok, it's my native land, but I like the argentinian flag! blue and white with a smiling sun (that my version) in the middle...

I know you asked not to do it, but i'm also going to have to go with my own flag - you simply can't beat the Welsh dragon! Nepal is great as well. Again, it's just something very different.

Agree with both Wocca's choices as well

Hong Kong gets my pick. A fine piece of design that is!

The Lebanese one is nice too, I'll agree with that. The Australian Aboriginal flag (which should be the country's proper flag) is very nice also. Really paints a much nicer picture of Australia than the current Colonial style.

There's a few other great flags though:

- Switzerland (gotta love the +)
- Mauritania looks like it's smiling
- Kyrgystan - great colours
- Antarctica - if only all flags followed that system!
- Kiribati - makes you feel like a holiday

All flags can be seen here btw.

I certainly agree with

Kyrgystan & Antarctica, I think I would add Hong Kong to the list as well.

Quoting Peter

The red in the Aboriginal flag depicts the bloodshed they suffered when the white man arrived

Where did you get that from Wocca?

It actually depicts the red earth and symbolises their relationship with the land. The yellow naturally depicts the sun (giver of life) and the black depicts the aboriginal people. It's one of the most meaningful flags I can think of.
