I'm sure this topic has been discussed before but i'd like some advice if anybody has any.
I'm currently in Sydney and will be leaving at the start of April to head up towrds the whitsundays by car.
What are the highlights? What shouldn't I miss out on? Obviously i've got a few things in mind. I'll deffo be going via Byron Bay.
Any suggestions would be most welcome.
Yeah Byron Bay, Surfers Paradise is worth a look as is Noosa.
Hi i am hoping to leave sydney on the 4th april to head to byron bay. If you want help with petrol and driving i would love a ride. 23 year old girl from england.
let me know
I definately recommend Noosa. The weather is awesome and the atmosphere is electric. Another great place is Cresent Head (great for surfing).
Brisbane is a great city also, and from here you must make your way to the Gold Coast and also the Sunshine Coast (im pretty sure one is below and one above Brisbane.
Everytime I drive between the Gold Coast (a.k.a Surfers Paradise) and Sydney I always try to do the BIG icons - the big Banana at Coffs Harbour, the big Prawn at Ballina... there's the big Pineapple up near Noosa and a big avocado, a big merino/sheep... I'm sure there's more... I make it my mission to get a photo at each but never do. I'm hopeless.
