hey everyone (yawn)

just into work and as usual I'm avoiding getting stuck into the pile in my in-tray so i thought i'd share with you all what I got up to last night.

there's a trek that i like to do not too far from where I live here in Ireland - to a mountain lake (or a corrie, i think is the correct term for it) at 800m in the Galtee mountains. anyway myself and my brother decided to do it in the dark last night. it was great - all the stars were out and it was really peaceful up there. it required a lot of concentration getting up there with just a small maglite and i fell flat on my ass on the way back down. (bit sore today )

but it was exhilirating and I slept like a log afterwards.

i just love nighttime - there's no-one else around. everything looks different in the dark and you almost feel like you shouldnt be there.

brilliant - forget massages, etc..this the ultimate way to de-stress.

Eve! That sounds beautiful...maybe something we could do while I am there? (hint, hint?)

Night trekking rocks.

I trekked up Mount Sinai in Egypt overnight, got my sleeping bag out and had a few hours kip. Was woken up by sunrise across the mountains.
