I'm going to be flying to Melbourne around early feb so some of our paths might cross too message me
I'm thinkin I'll work my way up the coast to cairns but have no solid plan yet, just go with the flow I think

I'm going June 19th on my own .
Quite looking forward to the idea of making friends out there. Will meet loads of different people.
But I agree it would be nice to have someone so if any of you are in Sydney about that time i'd love to meet up too

I arrive in Sydney on January the 5th, I know a few people who are doing oz intro the following week. But as i'm over 30, I am going it alone. I've not really got any set plans at the moment, if anyone's around Sydney the same time I would love some company (i've never backpacked before)
I'm staying at base hostel from the 5th to the 15th January 2013

Hey everyone ,

Just stumbled across this forum.

I am heading to Melbourne from the uk on the 10th feb (arriving the morning of the 12th in oz) Planning on staying in Melbourne for 2 weeks before going to a working hostel to get my farming work to secure my second whv sooner rather than later.

Anyone that is going to melbourne early feb where are you all staying?

iv been reading your comments and im in the exact position of most of you.
i fly to sydney on the 8 february 2013 and thats all i have so far.
anyone got any advice, like where to stay and how much to take, iv done research but alot of people say different things.

yo yo's... am 23 and just wandering anyone who is going australia (march mid-end) 2013 hook us up, aint got nothing planned just of the tip kinda thing, flying to melbourne and wanting to smash out the 3 month rural straight away so have 2nd year in bag but apart form that have no plans. peace
