Hi all,
Im flying out to Rio in early november and will be in Brazil for an unknown amount of time. Has anybody on the forums ever worked in a brazilian hostel / pousada in the past and have any recommendations that i can contact.
Have been emailing places with a varying amount of success (ranging from little to none what-so-ever), so if anybody has worked in return for accommodation / food before and can pass on the details / point of contact it would give me a good head start for places to try.
Anywhere in brazil is good, although preferably somewhere by the coast and not in a huge city (e mais caro nao?), but as i said, any place, any town / city, any state will be considered.
I have travelled a lot in Brazil in the past... this time i want to base myself somewhere for a while so i can learn the portuguese more proficiently and get a better understanding of what its like to "live" there.
