Now that i have seen your final overview it looks good!

I HIGHLY RECOMENDED, to stop at one of the many hot springs there are on the way from Vegas to San Fran,
i know one in the north of California, called Harbin Hotspirngs, but there are many out there, do look them up i promess you wont regret it. and the areas around them are magnificent.
cheers, and enjoy honey moon love!

First of all, congratulations on your upcoming wedding! I, too, think 5/6 days in Las Vegas may be a bit of "overkill". Three nights there would be a great first visit. Plenty of good shows and fine dining.

Thanks Marin, I'll be sure to look into those.

Sailrzr - Is there any particular reason we won't last 5 nights in Vegas?, this is going to include our trip to the Grand Canyon, me and my 'Mrs' our quite keen gamblers as well.

If you're gamblers then it'll be fine. 3 days is usually lots for "normal" tourists, that was my point.

That said, considering the incredible geography and landscape that's right outside - and you're on your honeymoon - it would seem to me that more than a day max inside the casinos would be an incredible waste...

Have fun.

Cheers,
Terry
