Hi everyone,

I am working from Central London in a couple of weeks and I need to take a taxi to the Hendon area after work everyday. Can anyone recommend any good online taxi companies?

Hendon has an underground station, and mainline station (both in Zone 3) connecting to central London. Alternatively if you really want a taxi, then you could hail a black cab on the street.

Black cab fares just aren't for me

Online bookings seem to make more sense at the moment for my situation, as I need regular cabs.

Addison Lee are the main online taxi firm. Cheaper than black cabs but clean and reliable.

Addison Lee is pricey. I would look for something local, both near where you are staying and the office. Use the local firm from wherever you star your journey. You'll get better rates, and if you are doing the route multiple times, they'll treat you well.

More about City of London

The City of London has been the financial and trade centre of the Greater London, and of England, since the start of civilisation in Europe. Geographically, it covers only an area of one square mile and the boundaries has remained almost the same since the Middle Ages. It is often referred to as just the City or the Square Mile.
