Hello Mazzade21,

Where did you hear that because if that's true that's really unfortunate, last year they had attendees from 75 different countries.

Oh well it's just pot luck, kinda of like the experience I had getting Glasto tickets

Spending money depends on whether you are camping or not. If you are camping, you can bring in your own food and drinks into the camping site reducing on overall costs as food/drinks. You cannot however take your own drinks/food into the festival grounds. The booze bag (€50) had 35 tokens in 2012. A beer (300ml) cost 2 tokens, a soda/water 1.5 tokens. 2 tokens to use the shower.....really depends on you...maybe you could add another 35 tokens or less....or more!

On the package, depends. The London package is on Eurostar so it depends/...maybe you were planning to travel by coach which could be cheaper....or ferry. I think people resort to packages coz tickets sell out faster than the packages...but for farther cities packages are cheaper.....again, unless you are flying Ryanair from say, a city like Barcelona.

About drugs, I can't say TL is known for drugs. People just assume because of the after movie on youtube but believe you me the music can make you high, you don't need drugs. I won't say you won't find drugs, of course it's a huge festival and it's bound to happen but you may not even notice its existence - I think it's the one place where by n large the highness is music (n alcohol) indiced. And oh, they do check guys- n bags when getting into the festival grounds, but the thoroughness depends on what time you get in, how high the traffic is....I never managed to sneak in drinks- but did in other festivals- I like to test.....

Security wise, generally good. Didn't hear of cases where tents were slashed (or even opened) or bags cut...but of course beware of pickpockets at the festival...many people lost smartphones....at the camping grounds everything is generally safe-I've heard stories about Oxygen (Ireland) and why they had to stop it- TL is nothing like it. But there are super long queues for showers esp if you are not an early riser (i.e wake up at 10-12 like the majority).....but from 2pm it's quite easy.

It's known for the great atmosphere and beautiful festival grounds! Line up is great but other festivals can have better....bottom line, totally worth it

Hello everyone!

I'm planning on going to Tomorrowland 2013, similar to many others while I wait for the tickets to be released I'm deciding what to do re the following factors and was looking for some advice?

1) How much spending money is good to take for the whole weekend
2) I'm going to be travelling from London, would it be cheaper to buy the package or to get everything seperate, I've been reading this forum thread -snip- and the whole process seems a bit confusing
3) I know all festivals have a degree of crime, but is there anything in particular apart from drugs that Tomorrowland is known for?

Any other help is much appreciated :-)

Hey,

Looking to travel in a group of 6.

Information By Garnier is Just perfect.

The Ticket Prices Can Range from 172 Euros + taxes and Vip ones @ 242 Euros + Taxes

Dreamville Passes need to be bought separately but as I've heard from a few friends who traveled last year, they said staying in a hotel in Antwerp/Brussels was a choice and surely a better one.

Official TL packages are released keep an eye on the official website guys as well as your local tour operators ;)

We're going to be traveling to Amsterdam post TL if anyone wants to join in with us for the trip please feel free to mail in ;)

Cheers!
