From the Iguazu Waterfalls ( Brazil) to Lima/Peru

I plan to travel from the Iguazu Waterfalls, via Paraguay ( to visit a friend ) and the Lake Titicaca to Lima, on Okt/Nov next year.

I ve low budget and four weeks to go.

Now my questions : - despite of the long journey time, it ´s a good idea to go this route by bus ( wheater conditions , lack of comfortable busses in Paraguay and Bolivia, security ) ?

- I plan to stay 3-4 days in Paraguay, 10 days on the Lake Titicaca ( Copacabana, La Paz, Puno and the Isles of the Uros) , in the jungle and at least Lima on the rest of the time. ( Have you ever been there ? Could you recommand something ?) I ´ll fly to Foz do Iguazu and departing home from Lima.

the lake is amazing!!...buses are safe and comfortable, though in Bolivia they can get rather cold so carry an extra layer for at night. Bolivia I recommend highly, it's cheap and alot to do and see, the Death Road on mountain bike is safer than it sounds. In Lima, Miraflores is where you will want to stay.
