I know what you mean, I am so ALERT and AWAKE when people are posting away...today I think we have too many St Paddy's Day casualties...the Irish crowd is reeeaaaally quiet

So are the Brits and the Canadians - guess it's just us ladies.

Sorry to hear you're not feeling well Joz. I think we need to get you laughing. Worked for me yesterday.

The first step toward Santori - step out of your door and see the world through your mind's eye. Even Brendan's muddy swamp can be an enlightening place if you don't try to look to hard for something tangible. Tangible will find you.

Hopefully, if "tangible" finds you, it isnt a deer crossing the road...

Or an armadillo or javelina or gila monster.

hehe...OK, Here is the Reader's Digest condensed version.
Car Accident-(One of many, but the worst in terms of human damage)I had my husband's prize Thunderbird. I was attempting to get onto the highway...(My lack of depth perception doesn't help) And I pulled right in front of an on coming car that was travelling at about 65 mph. I had a metal bedframe in the back seat that I was taking to a women and children's center. THAT is what hit me in the head. I had a compressed skull fracture and 40 stitches. I was a TBI. And for the life of me...I had the biggest problems with numbers for years afterwords:)

Doctor screw up- Chick problems..colposcopy...biopsy...and then they wanted to do a diagnostic lap..Piece'o'cake, right? Outpatient..3 hours max...They did the procedure..punctured my bowels in 3 places and sent me home...I went septic, stopped breathing, on a vent for 4 days and in ICU for two weeks. I lost 14 feet of intestines, my uterus, and damaged my bladder (hence the piddle problem;)) Of the first two weeks...all I can remember is wanted to die...because then I wouldn't be in any more pain.

Dammit, that didn't turn out too condensed.

Joz, if you still have problems with number, I can always help you...that is one thing I am VERY good at.

As far as the dr. screw up, my God is THAT a screw up!! At least you had already had your children. There was a reason why you had them so early...there is always a reason for everything. Also if you had given up in life, you would have never met us! ;)
