Hey backpackers

Alright the most is already said in the subject ;)
some facts about me:

I'm 25 y.o., female, lowbudget traveler, free spirit, alternativ, vegan,...
and I'm looking for a travel buddy :)

what I like to experience in india:
local ppl, landscape, culture,
not hanging around with a lot of tourists!
maybe: meditation/yoga, vipassana, volunteering project, evt. a bit sightseeing, learning about ayurveda,...

lot of things I want to do, big country, not much time, not much money = compromizes :/

Let me know about your plans, maybe we can figure something out...

Buy yourself a Lonely Planet guide to India.

On my first visit in 1984 (7 weeks), I arrived in New Delhi in early January with nothing booked and just a LP guide. I bought a 30 day Rail pass and I was off, travelling all around India. So much to see.

Do protect yourself from malaria, and a can of mosquito spray is a good investment. Only drink bottled water, which does not include water given you in an eating place (possibly tap water) unless you have actually seen a seal broken.
