Good evening,

My mother needs a hip-replacement surgery. Since I live in Canada, there are some incredible delays before she gets to finally see a surgeon.

Does anybody here have experience with medical tourism? We have started to look a little online but unfortunately we were unable to find reliable information regarding that option.

Could anybody help us?

Regards

JP

I have heard lots of good things about Bangkok hospitals where many Canadians and Americans go for a cut price op, with a holiday thrown in.

This is just one of the hospitals there:

Google will produce more. Best to go in winter. She can get some sun in recuperating while they are all freezing back home.

JP,
You might take a look at Tijuana Mexico. Just across the border from San Diego. This hospital will pick you up from the airport. Get a quote and see if it makes sense for your family. Good luck.

Hi,

I don't know if you had already found a good treatment option for your mother, but I would recommend India for medical tourism.
There is absolutely no waiting times, and you can get a quality treatment with lower costs.
