Hi, My name is Melisa. I am planning to make a trip to Europe from February 19th to March 19th. My idea is to arrive in Brussels and from there go to Brujas, Dresden, Munich, Praga, Venice, Florence, Rome, Madrid, Barcelona, Paris and London. Do u think is enough time to do it if i spend 2 days in each city? I wanted to buy the global pass but I am from Argentina. Do I need obligatorily a passport from a country of Europe?. I was thinking about doing couchsurfing, i would like to know if it's safe in Europe. And lastly, my idea is to take 1500 dls. Is that enough?
I am not sure if 2 days is enough but it all depends on what you want to do in each city, May it will be enough. In terms of moneywise, I think you might need more than 1500 Dollars, always a good idea to have some extra cash.
I am planning a trip to Euro in July - August 2013, it will be a road trip driving around in Europe. I am covering few of the cities on ur list. My trip is basically covering Spain, Monaco, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Netherland and France.
I will be driving around for almost a month and staying in each country for 6-7 days except for Netherland and Switzerland. Love to hear your experience.
By the way, I am from Australia and also looking for a travel buddy to come along with me on this adventure.
I am not keen on couch surfing, you never know where you are going to end up.
Your plans sounds great! It will be a lo of fun!
Of course you can always spend more than 2 days in those cities. But for the most interesting things 2 days should be sufficient. If it rains during these 2 days, you might want to stay a little bit longer though.
I would suggest to go to Berlin instead of Desden. Berlin is an awesome city, and it´s not even that expensive. You can do a lot of things for free there, for example visit the dome of the Reichstag for free (w/ audio guide).
Couchsurfing is okay to do in Europe, but as well as everywhere else, there might be some weirdos. But that can happen everywhere.
Have a great time and good luck with your plans!
Thanks so much for your answers! They are very useful!
