I'm travelling to Thailand on 27th Jan 2013 for 6 weeks....anyone going around then??
I'm looking to go north then down for the full moon party on 26th Feb then island hopping
I'm outgoing and sociable....looking forward to meeting lots of people from different backgrounds
Get in touch.....Danielle
I'll be landing in Bangkok on the 6th of Feb then heading North before going around the rest of SE Asia. Do you know where abouts you are going in Thailand?
My rough plan of action was to go up north then come down south but now considering popping over to Cambodia and Vietnam whilst I'm there but haven't done much research on them. I'm going for just over 6 weeks. What about u?
I defo need to do a bit more planning but don't want to be too rigid....wanna see where it takes me
Well I'm gunna be in Asia for about 5 months or so, with around the first two weeks in Northern Thailand (Bangkok, Ayutthaya, Sukhothai, Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai) before going over to Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia then venturing South. I've got a specific plan, but not necessarily sticking to it if better options arise.
I'd recommend have a little look into places like Siem Reap, Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville in Camboda. Also Ha Noi, Hoi An, Hue and Ho Chi Minh City for Vietnam. Both countries look like amazing places.
Hi Danielle, I will be at the full moon party on the 26th Feb! Cant wait, looking to book accom, any recommendations of people? Lucy xxx
Thanks for the info Ollie
Hey Lucy, I looked last week but think we defo need to book some soon cos it gets really booked up. Let me know if you find any good places xxx
I know yea, I want to book by this weekend really, coming round sooo quickly wanna make sure I find somewhere that theres groups of people drinking etc, dont want to end up around lots of families/older couples lol, theres just so much to choose from! xxx
If you're wanting the parties and drinkers then look for places around Haad Rin Beach on Koh Pha-Ngan. That's the most popular FMP destination. The hostels around there will usually have the younger, boozy crowds which you are looking for.
'The Hostel Koh Pha-Ngan' and 'Ringside' are usually quite popular.
