ESTA Renewal - My new passport exceeds 10 years vadility

Hi,

I have just received my new British Passport but have noticed that the issue date to expiry date exceeds 11 years...Nov 2012 - Feb 2023.

The problem I am having is when I try to apply for an ESTA renewal and submit my passport information (issue/expiration dates), an error message come up saying that my passport exceeds 10 years and I cant continue with the application process.

Does anyone out there know what I can do, or know who I can call??

I have tried contacting the US Border and Protection Agency on 1 877 227 5511 with no luck, just and automated message list.

I appreciate any help.

When are you going to travel?
If this is after Feb 2013, just apply then.
