Hello, I'm currently stayin in Melbourne and would appreciate it if people could tell me some must see things to do and see whilst I'm here. I'm here got a few more weeks yet so plenty of time!

What do people who have already even highly recommend? Thanks

Melbourne is a great city, check out Melbourne jail where they hung Ned Kelly, also take the tram out Port Melbourne, a lovely suburb, down a few beers in St. Kilda and defo catch agame of aussie rules at the MCG.

Unfortunately no AFL on at the MCG until April next year but you can always check out a game of cricket instead! The Boxing Day Test is well worth a visit.

There are several open air cinemas around the city and I highly recommend Moonlight Cinema in the Royal Botanic Gardens.

The Melbourne Zoo is worth a look and if you're around until late January you can squeeze in some live music with your animals at Zoo Twilights.

Queen Victoria Market is always great and in summer they have a pumping night market every Wednesday.

hey i would suggest going down to philip island either on a tour or if can rent a car as it is really nice to not be on a time frame that the tours put you on! on Philip Island i suggest doing the penguin parade, nobbies (seals rocks but very beautiful) and couple of beaches and cowes the main city there!

I would also suggest doing the skydeck, and the edge that comes with that. this is the VERY tall building where the edge (glass box) moves out from building and then goes see threw very cool!

Anyway hope that helps

chelle x
